Rita Kendall, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana who currently resides in Clarksville, Tennessee, has been a Cosmetology Instructor for 28 years and an Entrepreneur. For a period of five years she was The Owner of Nu-Wave School of Cosmetology. She is also a Business Consultant who values her time advising and consulting personnel on all aspects pertaining to Business . Always passionate when working with numerous of charities to include her participation in various missions. Mentored children in the Big Brothers & Big Sisters Program to include Fostering At- Risk Teenage Youth, primarily boys. She was an owner to "Just a Lady" Charm School and worked with Youths in VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America). Rita was a Career Counselor at a Vocational Center for children still in High School and was an active President for two years for A Minority Business for Women and hosted their Annual Ebony Fashion Fair.
Currently an Instructor for the Cosmetology and Esthetician Program at Miller-Motte Technical College (MMTC) in Clarksville, Tennessee. She is happily married with six children and they are members of First Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee.
